From Trust to Insight: The Role of Intelligent HCI in Decentralized Healthcare

Abstract

Interoperability in healthcare is not just a backend problem; it’s an HCI crisis. This keynote explores how we can move beyond fragmented data by designing intelligent interfaces built upon a foundation of verifiable trust. We will discuss how blockchain enables secure, patient-controlled data sharing, but argue that the true revolution lies in the HCI layer. This intelligent interface must act as a mediator, translating complex consent models for patients and, more importantly, synthesizing diverse data streams into actionable, AI-driven insights for clinicians. This is the core challenge for IHCI: designing the interaction that makes data both trusted and intelligent.
